Aboriginal Quilt

I went to the Cosmic Cow Quilt store and I saw this beautiful Aboriginal Quilt they had hanging on the wall. I loved all the bright colors and patterns. This quilt reminded me of our trips to Australia and New Zealand. We had met an Aborigine gentleman who taught Ron how to play the didgeridoo. We bought one and it was so decorated with these same bright colorful symbols of the indigenous people of Australia. I wanted to make this quilt in memory of our wonderful stays and introduction to the Aborigines of Australia. I finished the quilt in 2008. It was machine quilted by Sheila Reinke of Nebraska.
