Andrea’s Final Journey

Her breath became labored and then came her last,
Weak as it was, it carried her past
the gravity of earth. Oh, her spirit does climb
Beyond the grasp of this present time,
Into the presence of God, what a meeting,
Where all of the saints and loved ones are waiting!

The flight seemed brief, as she landed above,
and Jesus himself welcomed her with His love,
And draped around her a robe of pure white,
He led her through gates that glistened so bright,
And there up ahead she plainly could see
The fullness of a magnificent tree.

She did not ask, for it was well known
That the tree on the river that flowed from the throne
Was the Tree of Life, with branches that spread
It seemed forever as she walked on ahead,
And turning around quickly, she asked if she might,
But before she could finish, He gave her a bite.

Now no more suffering, no feeling of pain
Just joy overwhelmingly flowing like rain
Down her face. Oh, how can this be?
No words can describe such ecstasy.
The river is flowing, the light everlasting,
Bringing love beyond love beyond love without asking.

Oh, how? Oh, how can this be?
No words can describe such ecstasy!
The river is flowing, the light everlasting
Bringing love beyond love beyond love without asking.
